About me and my practice
Are you experiencing anxiety or depression? You might be wondering how to manage different transitions in life; perhaps relationships feel challenging or you have low self-confidence or self-esteem? I work with a variety of topics, utilising techniques to best suit you.
I understand that talking about your difficulties may feel overwhelming but by providing a safe space and caring therapeutic relationship, I offer you a place to see things differently. My approach means that I consider you to be the expert in you. We can discuss what brings you to therapy at your own pace and we will work collaboratively to enable you to process and make sense of your experiences.
Experience
I have 10 years experience working in the field of psychology and mental health and have supported people with a range of challenges including: issues around food and body image; low self-esteem and confidence; identity; anxiety and depression. I also have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ clients and clients with disabilities and long-term health conditions, such as MS, ME, Cerebral Palsy; alongside working with neurodivergent clients or those who have multiple access needs. I have extensive experience mentoring university students with mental health difficulties, which impacted on their academic performance.
